Draw Frame (Drawing Machine)
Model DF-250
The Draw Frame is a critical machine in the textile spinning process, positioned after carding or combing and before roving or spinning. Its primary function is to take multiple carded/combed slivers, combine them, and draw them out (attenuate them) to achieve a uniform thickness and parallelize the fibers.
This process is essential for creating high-quality, strong, and even yarn.
Key Benefits
- Uniformity: Drastically improves sliver thickness consistency through doubling and drafting.
- Parallelism: Aligns fibers to be perfectly straight, which boosts final yarn strength.
- Leveling: Corrects short-term and long-term thickness variations (CV%).
- Process Ready: Delivers a high-quality, clean sliver suitable for the subsequent spinning stage.
