Carding Machine
Model L-CARD-350
- This is a precision-engineered miniature carding machine designed for research, quality control, and small-batch production.
- Its core function is to take pre-opened bundles of fibers and subject them to an intensive mechanical combing process between the main cylinder and fixed elements (flats). This action separates the fiber bundles into individual fibers, removes tiny impurities (like neps or trash), and perfectly aligns the fibers to createa uniform, thin web. This web is then condensed into a rope-like form called a sliver, which is suitable for the next stages of yarn manufacturing or testing.
Key Benefits
- Fiber Flexibility: Processes a wide range of fiber staple lengths (22–86 mm), easily handling both cotton and wool, along with synthetics.
- R&D and Quality Control: Allows for precise testing and blending using only small, economical samples (feed rate 0.25–4 kg/hr), minimizing material waste.
- Superior Alignment: High cylinder speeds (up to 900 RPM) and multiple carding points create a highly opened and uniformly aligned fiber web/sliver.
- Production Scalability: Accurately simulates industrial carding conditions, providing reliable data for scaling processes to full-scale factory operation.
